learn to appreciate the teamwork and accuracy of note reading and
rhythm required in making good music with other students.
Vocal Ensemble (for ages 6 to 18))

This class trains young singers in the art of choral singing. Children
from elementary to high school can participate in one of the two
choral groups: Junior Vocal Ensemble (ages 6 to 12) and Vocal Ensemble

Group Piano Classes (for ages 5 to adult)
-Not offered this year
Group piano classes for beginning students are taught in a
Roland digital piano lab that utilizes the latest in music technology.
These classes are designed for students who are studying piano playing
for the first time. Class size is limited to 4 to 6 students. Each

begin to play almost immediately. These lively 45-minute weekly
lessons include note reading, rhythm building, listening skills,
music theory, keyboard technique, and solo and ensemble activities.
All programs are designed for piano beginners for the first two
years of studies in a group setting. Private lessons are recommended
upon graduation. Three programs are offered in four 15-week semesters:
-Beginner Program (ages 5 to 8)
-Older Beginner Program (ages 9 to 12)
-Teen and Adult Program (age 13 to adult)
