	National Federation of Music Clubs Junior Festival This audition festival is held between January 1 and March 31 each Spring. Entrants play 2 compositions from memory before a Federation judge and receive rating, certificate, and gold cup points which may be applied to a trophy award over a minimum of 3-year participation. Categories are solo piano, duet piano, piano concerto, trio piano, voice, organ, strings, harp, guitar, woodwinds, brass, handbells, dance, and piano accompaniment.

The National Federation of Music Clubs Festivals program is designed to promote study, stimulate interest in American and world music literature, and encourage each participant to reach a high standard of musical achievement. It is not a competition, but an opportunity to perform and receive evaluation.
