VIOLIN GROUP LESSONS I (4th to 6th Graders)
These 1-hour group lessons in June and July will help beginners to explore the basics of violin playing in a fun and non-stressful environment. Skills learned in violin class will prepare the student for school string classes, whether the student chooses to continue on violin, or to switch to the viola or cello.
Instructors: Denise Burcham, and Tracy Woodard
VIOLIN GROUP LESSONS II (All Levels and All Ages)
These 1-hour weekly classes for students with 2 to 3 years playing experience will provide an opportunity for them to brush up on their skills in a relaxed group atmosphere during the summer months.
Instructors: Denise Burcham, and Tracy Woodard
FLUTE GROUP LESSONS (4th to 6th Graders)
The class prepares students for flute playing before school begins. Students will learn proper care of the flute, mouth position, and fingerings. Students will be able to begin their school instrumental music programs with greater confidence. Classes will be held one hour per week for 4 weeks in June.

ENSEMBLES (All Ages and Various Instruments)
Ensemble program provides chamber music opportunities for student musicians of all ages and abilities to participate in chamber music as an extension of their private lesson studies. Audition is required for proper placement in appropriate groups. Rehearsals will occur 5 days a week for one hour, with a performance at the end of the 2-week session. 45-minute weekly rehearsals for the summer time will also be offered.
Instructors: Tracy Woodard, Denise Burcham, Johnna Jeong, Kaliya Okuri, and Troy Palmer
MUSICAL THEATER WORKSHOP (3rd Graders to Adults)
For beginning and intermediate singing and/or acting students. Prior singing and acting experience is helpful but not required. In these 3 and half hour classes Monday to Friday for the 2-week session, students will accomplish the tasks required to culminate in a performance of musical theater scenes at the end of the session. Curriculum includes scene study, voice training, movement classes, and drama classes.
Instructors: Troy Palmer, and Lisa Zimmerman
THEORY CLASSES (3rd to 12th Graders)
This is a good opportunity to gain theory knowledge, which helps students to understand music rudiments, brush up music listening skills, and become better music readers in the basic theory classes. The ABRSM class is offered to help students prepare for theory exams by the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music. Students may enter the theory exam in the fall.
